The phrase "Break The Pattern" was coined by TerenceNet, Inc. in 2001 and has evolved to become a complete methodology with we can apply to each of our projects and needs of our clients.

The Break The Pattern or BTP metholodgy grew out of a need for consistency and committment desired especially by small and medium sized companies. There was a need for small businesses to have access to a process during Internet and e-Business related projects that would allow the customer to better measure the success of the projects and verify progress on a solution.

TerenceNet, Inc. then established the BTP methodology which consists of 4 key elements:

  • Strategy - A strategic planning, identification, and road-mapping phase
  • Implementation - The development and evolution of a solution set from "idea" phase to a state in which it is launch capable from both functional and pragmatic viewpoints.
  • Deployment - The stage in which the solutions implemented are launched
  • Measurement - Ongoing assessment and auditing of the deployed solutions, both in their individual elements and collectively to ensure success for the client.

This metholodgy is important because it is something that is lacking from a vast majority of e-Business efforts currently being used by small businesses. It is the goal of the BTP methodology to educate and empower our clients to feel confident in e-Business initiatives to produce verifiable, ROI-generating results for their business models.
